After a hectic end to 2025 and solid start to the year 2026, this year is continuing at full throttle for Good Stock Records. Here is what you can expect from the label and our artists over the coming months.
The Goodstock Project
Ken and This Rain
Early in 2026 the band released the Ken Stringfellow mix of This Rain, which was a seminal experience for the band and our “house” mixing engineer Speaks, especially seeing as Ken contributed guitar, piano and some hammond to the track.
New Material
We know that there are 3 tracks currently in the works from The Goodstock Project at various stages of writing or recording, but we have no news on which will be out first or when, so we’ll have to hang tight on that. June has had a massively busy start to the year on solo matters, but everything is coming together for some GSP focus, so expect something new this summer.
Goodstock Project On Stage?
In addition to that we have rumours of further gig appearances in the summer with the camp currently working on a couple of dates in the Manchester and possibly Birmingham areas… stay tuned on that you will hear it here first!

The Fods
Kickback
After releasing Fuel and Cold in Jan and March respectively, April was given over to the remix of Kickback: an undertaking by remix artist Night Wolf through the Escavolt Records label, heavily leaning on Alan‘s and Birch‘s vocals, and reworking it with a trip-hop vibe – available on streaming platforms right now
Forthcoming Punkiness
As ever, though, with The Fods there are several tracks in the works, with a release expected this May: “It will be a punk collab single with a B-side from the Don’t Argue days, with as close to the original personnel as possible” – which we’re led to believe means Ben, Jon, Ol, Rob, Ez on the recording together, which is a pretty special occasion in our book – and that’s just the B-side.
More details on the A-side will follow very soon (we know there’s very heavy involvement from Fod Brother Alan in terms of vocals and guitar, with a female punk singer on the lead vox).
Album?
And what of “The Album” that we’ve been teasing since the Fods embarked on a rapid and relentless release schedule since Autumn 2025?
What say Ol?
Well if you were to take the tracks we’ve put out since we finished the Don’t ARgue project, we’re up to 8 released, so we only need a couple more… and then maybe it’s physical media time. We just need to figure out whether 10 tracks 10 genres 10 vocalists can all be made to play nicely together. Who knows? Not us because we don’t know which track will be number 10 coz we’re still writing and collaborating – whatever it is it will be fresh off the mixing desk at the time!

Headphone Jacks
The Emperor
2026 was a major milestone for Good Stock Records, having the honour of working with Headphone Jacks on their releases throughout 2026, starting off with The Emperor. An epic tale with top production values, amazing sounds and storytelling throughout 6 and a half wondrous minutes.
We’re also spinning the amazing Discipline album from 2025 which now streams every where through Good Stock records or the bands bandcamp presence (and soon Subvert.fm)
New Material
We are delighted to have wind of more new material coming from the Helsinki hellraisers, throughout the year, which will likely finish up with an EP or maybe even an album. The band are full of riffs, social commentary and sonic surprises and we can’t wait to hear what they’re cooking up.
We’ll also be keeping a close eye on any live appearances from the band to see if there are any sneak previews as the band develop their material on the live scene, just like bands did in the good old days.

Subvert.fm
Good Stock Records is very pleased to be part of the initial launch of Subvert.fm, which is a musician and label owned co-operative which has built into its constitution that it can’t be sold to corperate ownership or other venture capitalist and investment portfolios – it will remain musician owned for as along as it exists.
It also has a zero-tolerance on A.I. content, both in music and in artwork, which is a stance we can fully get on board with.
We have already onboarded The Fods, Headphone Jacks were there already and as soon as the platform’s label management features are ready we will have The Goodstock Project and flawed on there too, and we can’t wait.

Keeping Up To Date
So that brings us up to the beginning of May 2026. With lots of stuff coming up, the best way to keep on top of what happens next is to book mark this site, as we will showcase every release, major news or gig by the bands.
And all of the linktr.ee entries will show you the way to the streaming, or better still hi-fidelity downloadable musical goodness:
And whilst you’re here checkout these videos from the bands – Goodstock’s This Rain (KS Mix), The Fods with You’ve Not Got Me and Headphone Jack’s “the making of” studio montage for The Emperor.
All the best from Good Stock Records
