The Goodstock Project are an indie rock band with soul. We had so much fun covering “Bring It On Home To Me” by Sam Cooke that we decided to have a go at another great song by another great artist – “These Arms of Mine” by Otis Redding.
The track was actually suggested to us by a follower on social media who thought June’s voice would be perfect for it. Ben relayed this idea to June via the band’s WhatsApp group and June replied by way of a voice note in which she sang the chorus to the band. We were sold at that moment.
The track and video was recorded remotely in our homes, as per our original efforts, but the drums benefited from some actual microphones this time (as opposed to just an iPhone).
Enjoy and feel free to Contact Us for further info.
