Biography
From the vibrant Helsinki scene, Headphone Jacks crafts a powerful fusion of 90’s Alternative rock with heavy-hitting elements of Stoner and Desert rock.
The four-piece outfit consists of Jaakko Anttonen‘s bass and vocals, J-P Herlevi‘s guitar, and the brotherly duo of Aleksi and Riku-Pekka Lappalainen on drums and guitar respectively.
The band started out in 2018, and in 2020 self-released the Muzzle Buster EP, followed by a couple of singles in 2022. The band continued producing new music, and extensive gigging in the Helsinki area, proving to be a very popular act on the circuit. In late 2024 and early 2025 a number of singles were released through Inverse Records as a precursor to the 2025 release of the Discipline album, on streaming, bandcamp and CD.
After a successful joint-venture with The Fods in September 2025, much to our delight our favourite Helsinki Hellraisers have agreed to join the Good Stock Records roster, for their 2026 releases and beyond.
